Ramona Abeyta

Ramoncita Margarita Herrera-Abeyta, 74 Born in Canon de Vallecitos, New Mexico. A resident of Gardena, California for over 40 years. Ramoncita passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, May 26, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Filomena and Juan G. Herrera
Brothers: Elidoro, Juan, Jose, and Faustino Herrera a nephew John Lujan, and great niece Antoinette Herrera.

Ramona is survived by her sister: Eulalia of Espanola, NM., Cordelia Herrera of Palmdale, CA, Elidora Fields of Albuquerque, NM., Rebecca Herrera of Espanola, NM., Nadine (husband Leroy) Martinez of Espanola, NM., One brother Wilfred Herrera of Espanola, NM.

Children:
Julie and Michael Abeyta, of Cerritos California
Grandchildren: Bradon and Kayla Abeyta

Ramona was employed with the Air force Government for 50 years at El Segundo, California, and retired at the age of 71. She was diagnosed with cancer which progressed rapidly throughout her body.

She was a hard worker and enjoyed her job. she loved working in her garden and enjoyed reading. If you knew Ramona she was kind, loving, strong, and very beautiful. Her smile was one to remember.
