It is with the deepest of sorrows, Christopher Kalani Ramiscal (Cree), age 47 beloved son, brother, and uncle,
passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 while at home in El Segundo, CA.
Chris was born in Merced, California at Castle AFB to Reuben and Tihn Ramiscal on December 11, 1973.
After his father’s military service was completed, Chris’s family moved to Southern California where he attended Venture School in Culver City for High School studies and college prep. He eventually earned
his high school diploma and attended DeVry University for Business Management and Accounting.
He also strived for accomplishments in many other fields by constantly working hard toward his goals in life.
In all his endeavors, it was important to Chris that he remain close to his family.
Chris was a very talented videographer and photographer who absolutely loved the art of creating videos and taking pictures of people he loved and people who fascinated him. He was an avid car enthusiast, loved ocean fishing, always made plans to go on camping trips, and was very passionate about the welfare of animals.
He planned to buy an RV to travel around the U S with an orange cat and a dog.
He was a foodie and loved grabbing Korean breakfasts on the weekends with his father and loved exploring new restaurants in Los Angeles.
Chris was greatly beloved by all who knew him, he had an infectious smile that always seemed to brighten your day. He could always be counted on to raise the spirits of those around him with his quick wit and boisterous laughter.
For Chris, family was most important in his life, and he always took the opportunity to make sure they knew he loved and cared about them. Those who have had an opportunity to meet Chris would always describe him as a guy that can make anyone laugh.
He is survived by his father, Reuben, and siblings, Dianna, and Jacquie.
Chris will truly be missed and will always be loved by all the friends and families he touched.
The memorial and life celebration will be held at a private family gathering and because of Chris’s love of the ocean and fishing, his ashes will be spread in the Pacific Ocean.
